National Solidarity

Following is the Essay on National Solidarity.

Essay On National Solidarity

National solidarity, The word whose sense is pathetically needed in current era, The word behind the success and ecstasies of many nations, The word that leaves an expression of euphoria in heart after its impacts, The word behind many successive parables in history, The word whose essence is categorically needed in our beloved homeland Pakistan. National solidarity present itself as the whole of initiatives, attitudes and activities organized and rationalized taken both at the government and each individual levels in order to help social groups in a seriously distress situation and unable to solve unanticipated situations that overwhelm them without support.

Essay On National Solidarity

As recounted by Pope John Paul 2,
“Solidarity is not a feeling of vague compassion or shallow distress at the misfortunes of so many people, both near and far. On the contrary, it is a firm and persevering determination to commit oneself to the common good; that is to say to the good of all and of each individual, because we are all really responsible for all.”

On the score of the traits of National solidarity, It is impartial to say that National Solidarity is an imperative element that has played as well as playing a vital role in the development of prosperous countries in the world.
Its importance could not be denied as Martin Luther king junior elaborated it in an impressive way,
“We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools”.

Let’s have a glance on the historical perspectives of National Solidarity. The concept of it was emerged at the end of 19th century but it would appear that its force of conviction has waned over the years. The concept has become somewhat hackneyed now due to medley of diverse expressions and perspectives linked to it.
National solidarity is the crux behind the dominancy of specific Nation over another. Its substantive importance is vividly underscored by these quotations:

“A hand fought best when it made a fist.”
― Guy Gavriel Kay, Tigana

“We don’t need unity in theory, we need solidarity in practice.”
(Curious George Brigade)

National Solidarity is principal bulwark against fatal attacks whether internal or external. Apropos to it I want to bandy some real world apotheosis.

After Army public school massacre (December 16, 2014), a glimpse of national solidarity in true sense was seen insipidly in Pakistan. This sacrilegious and heinous act of atrocity was the provenance of unification power categorically. After this unification bolstered by peremptory triggering event, World had seen how Pakistani nation fought against terrorism and unpardonable acts. Without National solidarity this achievement of war against terror was inevitable.

Walter Reuther glossed-over the true sense in his famous saying that,
“There is no power in the world that can stop the forward march of free men and women when they are joined in the solidarity of human brotherhood.

It is beneficial too in sense of foreign affairs as it transfers an expression of power and supremacy of a country to other world. National solidarity is supreme also in terms of International cooperation. As the famous saying:

“To contrast national solidarity and international cooperation as two opposites seems foolish to me”
(Gustav Stresemann)

National solidarity is the cause In terms of achievements of other triumphant Nations in the world without exception. It’s a path way that leads toward eternal bliss. As the famous saying:

“We’re better together than we are apart”
(Trevor D. Richardson)

National Solidarity

Let me delineate perfect example of power of National solidarity in England. The barterers in England once over-stocked the tomatoes to earn illicit profit. Due to this act of over-charging the public, whole nation decided to supersede the tomatoes and to rely on yoghurt. The next day tomatoes were found as residue on road sides. Big things and achievements come to nations when they are united. The quote best explain the motif of above mentioned example,

“We don’t accomplish anything in this world alone, and whatever happens is the result of the whole tapestry of one’s life and all the weavings of individual threads from the one to another that creates something.”
(Sandra day o’connor)

Recently, A noticeable National Solidarity was spotted averse to Turkey’s coup plotters. The most entice thing happened during the coup was the coalition and amalgamation of whole Turkish nation in resistant to coup on a single voice message of their leader Erdogan. The fervor and enthusiasm of Turkish nation acted as an origin to salvage them from serious loss.

Like the benefits and advantages of National solidarity in ways of achievements, The drawbacks fabricated due to no presence of it are of even worst nature and catastrophic.

Its importance of kernel and paramount nature is compelling me to gloss-over the ponderous loses and critical dangers because of no National Solidarity especially in terms of survival of countries. Due to bereave of National Solidarity we have lost our one wing East Pakistan, Current Bangladesh. Nonentity in terms of solidarity leaves the nation vulnerable to controversies and conspiracies which further lead to calamity, dis-unification and alienated shards.
The motif of unification and element of being one caused by APS attack is badly needed in other terms in vast interest of beloved homeland also.

Though we are Muslims and Islam is the unification power between us but we have not taken the retrospective abrasive events seriously. We are in need of escape from the paradox of dis-integration. We need to beget brotherhood.

As In the last sermon (known as Khutba-e-hajjatul-Wida) , Our beloved Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said,

“O’ People! Every Muslim is the brother of every other Muslim, and all the Muslims form one brotherhood. And your slaves; see that you feed them with such food as you eat yourselves, and clothe them with the clothes that you yourselves wear.”

Alas! We are as cool as cucumber now. We have forgot the meaning of the famous adage “United we stand-divided we fall”. We need to run helter-skelter toward the robe of Islam. Exertions on individual bases are required to bring the nation on single platform. We need to cogitate over and figure out the symptoms, remedies and solutions pertaining to dis-unification. Then we will be a powerful Nation Insha-Allah.
